A Formal Thanksgiving

Hi everyone! So, here is the last of my Thanksgiving outfit ideas. I wanted to save my personal favorite for last, as this is most likely what I will actually be wearing this Thanksgiving. I know many people don’t usually dress very formal for Thanksgiving, but having a job where I wear leggings and sweat pants everyday, I like to use the holidays as an excuse to be as “dressy” as possible. One of my favorite traditions is to go shopping for a Thanksgiving/Christmas dress. I have been doing this since I was very little, and it’s something I look forward to every year. I am so in love with the dress I found this year, and the best news is that it was only $19.99 at Tj Maxx. I know, I couldn’t believe how affordable it was either. I didn’t even think twice about buying it. I decided to add some pearl earrings, a pearl choker, and some pointed heels to finish off this look. If you are someone that doesn’t like to be so formal for Thanksgiving, this look would be perfect for holiday parties too! Speaking of holiday parties, I have a lot of posts coming up in the future for my outfit ideas and makeup looks like I am excited to share with you guys! If there is anything specific you guys would like me to post about, just let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving outfit #1: Comfy & Casual

Hi everyone! I’m sorry I have been slacking on blogging again lately, school has just been, well…school. I’m sure you guys understand! Anyway, over the next few days leading up to Thursday, I plan to post different outfit ideas that would be perfect for Thanksgiving. The first outfit I wanted to share was a cute but casual option. Since there is a lot of eating that occurs on Thanksgiving, I always feel the best when I’m comfortable. I recently purchased this adorable pink lace top from Marshalls for only $14.99! I was going for a casual look, but not one that seemed “too casual.” I think the lace details on this top give it that extra touch that make it perfect for the holidays. I stuck with some comfy jeans and my favorite pair of black boots…that you will see again in the near future! To finish the look, I added my favorite necklace. This outfit would not only be great for a holiday event, but for any day! Well, I will talk to you guys again tomorrow in my next post. Thanks for reading!

button-downs & blanket scarves

Hi everyone! First, I want to say sorry for my lack of posts last week. I have been super busy with school, and couldn’t find the time to put a post together. I have been taking lots of outfit photos lately, so hopefully I will be able to get back to blogging twice a week! Just the other day while I was cleaning out my closet, I realized that I have accumulated numerous button-down skirts over the past few months. I had completely forgotten about this adorable burgundy one that I had purchased for Thanksgiving last year, and I was so excited to find it. As I have mentioned in a previous post, burgundy has been my favorite color this fall. I decided to pair it with a chambray shirt, which is also button-down. I had originally left the outfit at that, but it seemed like it needed something more so I also wore my favorite scarf with it. Seriously though, how perfect are the colors on that scarf for fall?! After realizing it was way too cold out for bare legs, I put on some tights. I finished the look with my go-to riding boots, and called it a day! What have you guys been loving to buy/wear lately?
