Hi, everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I am so excited for Christmas, and I am even happier now that I finished my finals yesterday. For all of you who also recently finished, you know how great of a feeling it is to finish your last final before the holiday break. Enjoy yourself, and take lots of time to relax! I know I will be.

Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite looks with you guys. If you read my last post, you’ll know that I have recently discovered Missguided, and I am obsessed. Along with the sweater dress, I also purchased this cozy ribbed knit sweater. Unfortunately, I think it just sold out, as it was on sale, but I linked a VERY similar one down below. I knew as soon as I opened it that I was going to pair it with a suede (not real suede) skirt, which is exactly what I did for this look, and I loved it! Although it’t not pictured, I also wore a black trench coat to go with it, so I wouldn’t freeze, haha! To finish the look, I wore my new favorite booties and my JORD watch.

I think this is a really great casual winter look, and I know I am going to be wearing it a lot! Let me know what your favorite part of this outfit was! I hope you all have a great day, and thanks so much for reading!

Hi everyone! Can you believe Christmas is only five days away and 2017 is only twelve days away? Where has the time gone?! I wanted to blog so much more than I did this month but the time seriously flew by, and of course I was caught up in school/finals. That being said, I am SO excited for 2017 and I have a lot of really exciting changes coming to my blog in the new year. Yes, I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I really can’t contain my excitement!

Anyway, I’m sure you’re here for the outfit, so let’s get to talking about that. So, I recently discovered the store Missguided, and oh boy am I obsessed. Not only is the clothes amazing, but students also get a discount. I know, I was freaking out too! Needless to say, I have been purchasing a lot from them lately, and I can predict I will be purchasing a lot more from them in the near future. For the past few months, I have been on a search for the perfect sweater dress, and I was able to find so many on the Missguided website. Also, it was under $40 which is always a plus. The material is awesome, and the dress is the perfect length for my height. That being said, if you’re on the taller side, this dress might be a little short on you. I am barely 5’4 and it’s definitely short on me, so that is something to keep in mind if you do decide to order it. As I was going for a very simply look, I just finished the look by wearing my new pair of sock boots I purchased from Windsor. I love these boots for so many reasons. The first being they’re velvet, and I have been obsessed with anything velvet lately. Next, they seriously do feel like a pair of socks. Lastly, the heel is the perfect height, and I don’t feel like I am going to brake my ankle when I walk in them, woohoo!

December has definitely been a month of finding new stores and developing my style into what feels the most me. I hope you guys liked this look, and have a great Tuesday!

Hi, everyone! I’m sure you could tell by the title of this post, but I have a new favorite item in my wardrobe. I have been LOVING this ankle boot trend lately, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair of them…or two, as I have a second pair arriving today, haha! I think these boots are amazing, and they go with so many different looks.

For this look in particular, I really wanted the boots to be the focal point, so I decided to wear darker colors so that the they would really stand out. I love styling them with skinny jeans, but I think they would look sooo amazing with a sweater dress as well, or any outfit for that matter, haha! The best part of all is that these boots were only $25 dollars at T.J. Maxx. I know, I couldn’t believe it either. I purchased them online, so you don’t have to worry about your store not carrying them, plus it was free shipping, woohoo!

For the rest of my outfit I wore my favorite/most comfortable pair of skinny jeans paired with an off the shoulder top. To finish off the look, I wore a black velvet choker, like always, haha!

I can’t wait to create more looks with these boots, and I look forward to styling my other pair as well. Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great Wednesday. We are halfway through the week!

Hi everyone! I’m sorry I have been slacking on blogging again lately, school has just been, well…school. I’m sure you guys understand! Anyway, over the next few days leading up to Thursday, I plan to post different outfit ideas that would be perfect for Thanksgiving. The first outfit I wanted to share was a cute but casual option. Since there is a lot of eating that occurs on Thanksgiving, I always feel the best when I’m comfortable. I recently purchased this adorable pink lace top from Marshalls for only $14.99! I was going for a casual look, but not one that seemed “too casual.” I think the lace details on this top give it that extra touch that make it perfect for the holidays. I stuck with some comfy jeans and my favorite pair of black boots…that you will see again in the near future! To finish the look, I added my favorite necklace. This outfit would not only be great for a holiday event, but for any day! Well, I will talk to you guys again tomorrow in my next post. Thanks for reading!

Hi everyone! First, I want to say sorry for my lack of posts last week. I have been super busy with school, and couldn’t find the time to put a post together. I have been taking lots of outfit photos lately, so hopefully I will be able to get back to blogging twice a week! Just the other day while I was cleaning out my closet, I realized that I have accumulated numerous button-down skirts over the past few months. I had completely forgotten about this adorable burgundy one that I had purchased for Thanksgiving last year, and I was so excited to find it. As I have mentioned in a previous post, burgundy has been my favorite color this fall. I decided to pair it with a chambray shirt, which is also button-down. I had originally left the outfit at that, but it seemed like it needed something more so I also wore my favorite scarf with it. Seriously though, how perfect are the colors on that scarf for fall?! After realizing it was way too cold out for bare legs, I put on some tights. I finished the look with my go-to riding boots, and called it a day! What have you guys been loving to buy/wear lately?

On Sunday, my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to the pumpkin patch, as we had missed out on doing so last year. As it is coming to the end of the apple picking/pumpkin picking season, there weren’t too many options, but I still managed to find a cute little one that caught my attention. When I was younger, my mom always read the book Spookly the Square Pumpkin to me, which has always caused me to want a pumpkin that no one else might want. Yes, I am a 20 year old who still thinks all pumpkins deserve a home on Halloween night, lol! On this day, the wind was very strong, which made it feel a lot colder out. I decided I wanted to look as fall-ish as possible, so I wore my new plaid shirt from Old Navy (which are currently 50% off!!!). To stay warm, I also wore my new vest, which is also from Old navy (the vest is currently 20% off). For pants, I decided on some olive green jeans from Forever 21, which are extremely soft, stretchy, and comfortable! Lastly, I finished off this look with my duck boots I purchased from Tj Maxx last year. They are fuzzy on the inside, so they keep your feet super warm! Overall, I’d say I had a very successful trip to the pumpkin patch, and I am happy to say I actually went this year. Do you guys prefer little pumpkins, or the huge ones!?

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far and have lots of fun fall activities planned (I know I do)! Typically on the weekends, I like to get a little more dressed up, but this weekend I wanted to just stay comfy and casual. The weather has been a all over the place where I live, and today is supposed to be 58, which I consider a little warm so I wanted to wear something that I wouldn’t feel too hot in if I did a lot of walking around. For my first outfit, I had originally just had a white t-shirt on with my leather Jacket, but I ended up adding a plaid shirt around my waist, as I felt the outfit needed something more. I love how it looked together, and I will definitely be doing this more often! I wore my favorite new pants that I got from Old Navy, and also some ankle boots from Old Navy that seriously go with every outfit! Last weekend, Old Navy was having a 40% off sale for cardholders, and I mean, who can resist that!? Needless, to say, I went a little crazy, lol! For my second outfit, I wanted to be even cozier, so I chose to wear a loose fitting turtle neck with the same old navy jeans and black ankle boots. Like I said, those boots go with everything! I will link them down below for all of you! I finished the outfit with an adorable straw hat from Forever 21, and I have to admit, I was feeling very fall-ish! Do you guys like to dress up on the weekends, be comfy/casual, or live in your pajamas? I have definitely had my fair share of weekends living in my pajamas, lol!

Each fall, I find myself falling (pun not intended) in love with a different color. Last year I was obsessed with black, which I still am; however, this year burgundy has been my go-to color throughout September and October. I have always thought it made for such a gorgeous lipstick color, but this fall I have been loving it for clothes as well. Personally, there is nothing more beautiful than the autumn leaves, and my favorite have always been the different variations of red, which is why I think I am head over heels for this color this year. I have also been loving cold shoulder tops, and they were a staple in my wardrobe over the summer as well. I think the cut out shoulders add such a unique touch, and make them easy to style for a casual look, or a more dressy look. Tj Maxx currently has so many adorable cold shoulder tops, which is where I got mine. I love pairing them with a choker because I think it helps to really pull the look together. I purchased mine from Forever 21. To finish off this outfit, I wore my newest pair of booties that I also purchased from Tj Maxx. I had been in search for the perfect pair, and when I saw the fringe on these, I couldn’t help but buy them. I also love the slight heel, as it helps short girls like me gain a little height, haha! What has been your favorite color for the fall?

After a total of about 20 hours of homework this weekend, I wanted to step away from my computer for a little while and visit one of my favorite places, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. If you live in the New England area and have never visited Portsmouth, I highly suggest doing so. It’s filled with gorgeous old houses, endless shops, parks, and amazing views of the water. Not to mention, it looks adorable at this time of year with all of the fall decorations and falling leaves. For my trip to Portsmouth, I wanted to be comfy, as I would be walking for most of the day, and I knew there was going to be a lot of eating, so a baggy sweater it was. Just a few days prior, I bought the sweater I am wearing from Forever 21, and knew it would be perfect for this day. It’s baggy, feels like a blanket, and has the cold shoulder look, which is my favorite. I paired it with my favorite black skinny jeans from PacSun, my new pair of leopard print flats from Target (which I am obsessed with), my leopard print Moschino bag – which I purchased a few years ago so they probably don’t have it anymore, and my favorite pair of Steve Madden sunglasses from Marshalls. I had an amazing day in Portsmouth, and it was exactly what I needed to help relieve some stress. I hope you’re all having a great day!
