Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening

Hi, everyone! How have you all been?! I am so sorry for my hiatus. I started a full time job, and I am still doing summer classes, and boy is it busy! I am SO excited to be back and sharing an awesome product with you all, though! I was lucky enough to get to try out Smile Brilliant over the past few weeks, and I can definitely say, I am obsessed! Over the past few years, I have actually considered getting my teeth professionally whitened at the dentist, so when Smile Brilliant reached out and offered to send me a teeth whitening kit that is as effective as professional teeth whitening at a dentist, yet you can stay in the comfort of you own home, you can bet I was excited.

One of my favorite parts is that you get to make your own custom-fitted trays right at home! When you first receive your kit you will get the trays, and make your impressions, which is super quick, and actually quite fun! You will then send your impressions back to Smile Brilliant and about a week later, your personal trays will arrive at your house. I honestly could not believe how well my trays fit my teeth when they arrived. When I put them in, it did not even look like I had anything on!

After receiving your trays, you can start whitening, woohoo! You want to put an even layer of the teeth whitening gel in your trays to make sure your teeth are coated. I would leave my trays in for about 45-60 minutes each time, and I whiten about 5 times a week.

To be honest, I was quite nervous to begin whitening at first because of how sensitive my teeth get. That being said, the desensitizing gel works INCREDIBLY. After whitening I would use the desensitizing gel for about 15 minutes, and I would have absolutely no tooth sensitivity, which was a huge plus!

Now, for the best part, the results! I am so happy with the results of using Smile Brilliant. I cannot believe how white my teeth got in such a short period of time, and everyone was able to see the difference!

Hi, everyone! So I’m sure you can tell, but today I decided to post about something a little different. I usually don’t post about decorating, but it does happen to be something I LOVE doing, so I figured I would write about it and maybe give you guys some inspiration for your next party!

The other day was my mom’s birthday, and as we both love to decorate, it gave us the perfect excuse to go all out. My mom loves anything pink, sparkly, and girly, so we tried to incorporate all three into the “theme”. For the table cloth, my mom opted for a “greige” color with a lace runner. To add a pop of color, she chose pink napkins and silver decorative plates. Due to my love for silver, gold, and pink together, I found the most adorable party hats at Tj Maxx to add on top. I also found the Happy Birthday sign at Tj Maxx that I hung from the window behind our dinner table. To add a little more frill, I also hung up a ribbon garland that I made myself. You can actually see how I made it on my YouTube channel under DIY spring room decor. My mom received a ton of flowers, so we put them to good use and made them into gorgeous decorations to add to the table along with some silver and gold candle holders. Lastly, it wouldn’t be a birthday without dessert! I made some vanilla cupcakes with strawberry buttercream frosting and added them to this adorable pink and gold cupcake stand (also from Tj Maxx).

I have to say, I think this birthday was one for the books, and it was great to see my mom have such an awesome time. I hope you guys enjoyed this type of post, and let me know if you’d like to see more of these in the future!

On Sunday, my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to the pumpkin patch, as we had missed out on doing so last year. As it is coming to the end of the apple picking/pumpkin picking season, there weren’t too many options, but I still managed to find a cute little one that caught my attention. When I was younger, my mom always read the book Spookly the Square Pumpkin to me, which has always caused me to want a pumpkin that no one else might want. Yes, I am a 20 year old who still thinks all pumpkins deserve a home on Halloween night, lol! On this day, the wind was very strong, which made it feel a lot colder out. I decided I wanted to look as fall-ish as possible, so I wore my new plaid shirt from Old Navy (which are currently 50% off!!!). To stay warm, I also wore my new vest, which is also from Old navy (the vest is currently 20% off). For pants, I decided on some olive green jeans from Forever 21, which are extremely soft, stretchy, and comfortable! Lastly, I finished off this look with my duck boots I purchased from Tj Maxx last year. They are fuzzy on the inside, so they keep your feet super warm! Overall, I’d say I had a very successful trip to the pumpkin patch, and I am happy to say I actually went this year. Do you guys prefer little pumpkins, or the huge ones!?

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far and have lots of fun fall activities planned (I know I do)! Typically on the weekends, I like to get a little more dressed up, but this weekend I wanted to just stay comfy and casual. The weather has been a all over the place where I live, and today is supposed to be 58, which I consider a little warm so I wanted to wear something that I wouldn’t feel too hot in if I did a lot of walking around. For my first outfit, I had originally just had a white t-shirt on with my leather Jacket, but I ended up adding a plaid shirt around my waist, as I felt the outfit needed something more. I love how it looked together, and I will definitely be doing this more often! I wore my favorite new pants that I got from Old Navy, and also some ankle boots from Old Navy that seriously go with every outfit! Last weekend, Old Navy was having a 40% off sale for cardholders, and I mean, who can resist that!? Needless, to say, I went a little crazy, lol! For my second outfit, I wanted to be even cozier, so I chose to wear a loose fitting turtle neck with the same old navy jeans and black ankle boots. Like I said, those boots go with everything! I will link them down below for all of you! I finished the outfit with an adorable straw hat from Forever 21, and I have to admit, I was feeling very fall-ish! Do you guys like to dress up on the weekends, be comfy/casual, or live in your pajamas? I have definitely had my fair share of weekends living in my pajamas, lol!

After a total of about 20 hours of homework this weekend, I wanted to step away from my computer for a little while and visit one of my favorite places, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. If you live in the New England area and have never visited Portsmouth, I highly suggest doing so. It’s filled with gorgeous old houses, endless shops, parks, and amazing views of the water. Not to mention, it looks adorable at this time of year with all of the fall decorations and falling leaves. For my trip to Portsmouth, I wanted to be comfy, as I would be walking for most of the day, and I knew there was going to be a lot of eating, so a baggy sweater it was. Just a few days prior, I bought the sweater I am wearing from Forever 21, and knew it would be perfect for this day. It’s baggy, feels like a blanket, and has the cold shoulder look, which is my favorite. I paired it with my favorite black skinny jeans from PacSun, my new pair of leopard print flats from Target (which I am obsessed with), my leopard print Moschino bag – which I purchased a few years ago so they probably don’t have it anymore, and my favorite pair of Steve Madden sunglasses from Marshalls. I had an amazing day in Portsmouth, and it was exactly what I needed to help relieve some stress. I hope you’re all having a great day!

Hi everyone! I know it has been quite a while since my last blog post, but that is because I decided to take a little time off. I wanted to continue blogging again once I purchased a better camera, and I finally got the Canon 70D last week. I am still very new to using it, so I’m sure there are loads of settings that I don’t know about that could improve my pictures even more. I am looking forward to getting to know this new camera, and hopefully taking some really good photos with it! Anyway, here are some of my newest purchases that I have been loving. I don’t typically wear dresses, but when I saw this one at Urban Outfitters the other day, I knew I had to buy it! I paired the outfit with my Steve Madden wooden sandals, which totally remind me of the 70’s, as well as this fringe bag I purchased from Nordstrom. I hope you all like this look, and I look forward to posting more!
